Transfer Student Leadership Program

The mission of the Transfer Student Leadership Program (TSLP) is to provide undergraduate transfer students the opportunity to earn a leadership certificate and increase their sense of belonging at UT Dallas.

Fall 2024 TSLP Cohort

If you’re interested in understanding your leadership style, developing your leadership skills, and earning a student leadership certificate, we encourage you to apply for our leadership program. 

Timeline & Deadlines 

TSLP begins accepting applications for the fall cohort in September and for the spring cohort in January. 

If selected to join the program, you’ll take part in five leadership meetings during the fall or spring semester, and you’ll be matched with a member of our Student Welcome and Transition (S.W.A.T.) Team. 

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible to apply, you’ll need to meet the following criteria: 

  • You must be an undergraduate transfer student who is enrolled at UT Dallas and transferred to UT Dallas from another institution.
  • You must commit to attend five meetings during the fall or spring semester. Each meeting is approximately two hours long. 
  • You’ll need to be open to meeting new people and learning about ways to develop your leadership skills.
