Transfer Student Leadership Program
The Transfer Student Leadership Program is open to undergraduates who’ve transferred to UT Dallas from other institutions.
If you’re interested in understanding your leadership style, developing your leadership skills, and earning a student leadership certificate, we encourage you to apply for our leadership program.
Timeline & Deadlines
The Transfer Student Leadership Program begins accepting applications for the fall cohort in September and for the spring cohort in January.
If selected to join the program, you’ll take part in five leadership meetings during the fall or spring semester, and you’ll be matched with a member of our Student Welcome and Transition (S.W.A.T.) Team.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
- You must be an undergraduate transfer student enrolled at UT Dallas.
- You must commit to attend five meetings during the fall or spring semester. Each meeting is approximately two hours long.
- You’ll need to be open to meeting new people and learning about ways to develop your leadership skills.
