Whether you’ve just transferred to UT Dallas or you’ve been here for several years, we’ve got you covered! 

Check out our recommendations below to find information about textbooks, course-related materials, and much more. 

  1. The UT Dallas Bookstore is the place to turn to for your textbook needs. You can search for textbooks by typing in your Student ID or course information. You can also pick up other items while you’re there, from clothing and school accessories to electronics and UT Dallas swag. 
  2. Did you know that you can find all kinds of textbooks at the Eugene McDermott Library? You can even access free Course Reserves, which are materials set aside by your professors. 
  3. If you’re looking for books, e-books, articles, databases, and more, you can use the library’s Basic Search Tool to explore everything they’ve got to offer. You can even check out their Interlibrary Loan Services portal if you’re looking for hard-to-find books and articles. They might be able to request them from one of UTD’s many partner libraries! 
  4. The library’s Advanced Search Tool may seem a bit intimidating at first glance, but this is the most sophisticated tool you can use when searching for books, e-books, articles, and more. 
  5. The library has 100+ Research Guides that are organized by disciplinary field. These guides have specially curated books, e-books, journals, databases, and other media that’ll help you narrow your search and find what you’re looking for. 
  6. Don’t know where to turn? Check out the Ask a Librarian webpage for resources and contact information or schedule a 1-on-1 meeting with a librarian.
