As a UT Dallas student, you have access to all kinds of free resources, programs, and opportunities designed with your health and wellness in mind.

Student Health Center 

The Student Health Center is the place to go for all your primary and preventative care needs. You can schedule appointments and access important health-related resources. You can even schedule a free dental screening with a local dentist! 

Student Counseling Center

College life can be challenging. If you’re ever in need of mental health support and services, please contact the Student Counseling Center for free and confidential services. 

They’ve got all kinds of counseling services, skills-based workshops, and self-help resources. They’ve even got a 24/7 Crisis Hotline if you’re ever experiencing a personal crisis and need to talk to someone.

Center for Students in Recovery

For students interested in recovery from either substance or process addictions, the Center for Students in Recovery offers a collegiate recovery program and community.

Student Wellness Center 

The Student Wellness Center offers educational programs and consulting opportunities for UT Dallas students in the areas of nutrition, stress management, sexual health and healthy relationships, public health, and alcohol and other drugs.

University Recreation 

Did you know that UT Dallas students have access to a natatorium, weightlifting and cardio equipment, a climbing wall, racquetball courts, intramurals, personal training, and group fitness classes? Contact University Recreation to learn more!

Emergency Services 

UTD has various services for students experiencing medical or physical distress: 

The UTD Police Department even offers free student and staff escorts anywhere on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you’d ever like an escort, call 972-883-2222 and request one.
